My name is Leah Singer and I’m a freelance writer, editor and college writing teacher.

When I was 40 years old, I moved from Southern California to the Indiana ... and that's where the journey to finding myself began. I share my personal stories that generally center on midlife, running, divorce, self-discovery, parenting a teenage daughter, writing, and life in Middle America as a transplant from Southern California.

I'm the former managing editor of the Red Tricycle Spoke Contributor Network (now Tiny Beans) and San Diego city editor. My writing has appeared in USA Today, Indianapolis Star (IndyStar), Huffington Post, The Good Men Project, Edible Indy and Edible San Diego, Terre Haute Living, Terre Haute Tribune-Star, Babble, Scary Mommy, Red Tricycle, and many other national blogs and websites. You can find all my published work here.

I spend my time running, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, collecting vinyl (folk, indie rock and 70s are my favorites), taking photos, cooking and reading books.
